Life has been good! But through it all, the many memories collected at THS stand out. Those were the good ole days!

After THS, then the UofA, and upon graduation I was commissioned as an officer in the USAF. Seven years as a fighter pilot in the USAF, and then onto the aerospace industry. Great times doing neat things designing and building airplanes. I managed Master's degrees in Engineering Management (Univ of Missouri-Rolla) and Management as a Sloan Fellow at MIT. When the Berlin wall came down, I went on to another industry (Johnson Controls), realizing the cold war was over. A few years later I was selected to head up their businesses in Japan. After five years as CEO in Japan, I retired to San Diego in 1999 and became a private investor just as the stock market crashed. Not a good time to make money, but great if you wanted to lose a bunch. After several frustrating years of trying to play good golf (and failing miserably), I started teaching Acquisition Management and Engineering for the Department of Defense, and I am just recently a visiting Professor at the USAF Academy in Colorado Springs. Hopefully, we will be closing on a house the day before the THS Class reuninon starts. We will see? I have every intention of retiring...again... in early 2007... at the latest. I have a lovely wife, Susan, and two great sons. The oldest is a Doctor (Physical Therapy) practicing in the San Diego area and the other has just started his freshman year in Santa Barbara.

Looking forward to the reunion!

We live in Newark, Delaware, although our mailing address is Wilmington, DE. I have been the rabbi of a Reconstructionist synagogue for the last 18 years. I have been married to Terri (the other person in the picture) for 31 years. We have three children, Eve (24), Ari (almost 21) and Scott (almost 18). My hobbies include needle point and bad puns. Terri teaches high school English. Eve has graduated U of D and works for a children's shelter. Ari is a Jr at U of D and Scott will be attending U of D next year. Sorry I cannot be with all of you.

After THS, I went to the U of A and graduated with a degree in Romance languages. I met my husband while in college and we were married Sept 21,1968. He is from Des Moines, and after graduation, we moved there. We have a family manufacturing business, Dickson Industries, Inc. We have 4 adult children and they now all live in Des Moines also. 3 of them work for our company. We have one grandson who is 11 months old. I enjoy playing tennis, reading, traveling, golf, etc.

I'm looking forward to seeing everyone-- soon!

When I am not working on all these web pages and our Yahoo Group, I have been checking in with my parole agent on a regular basis, busy with my own business, volunteering time for the (California) Governor's Office of Emergency Services, and the City of Encinitas, where we live. I have been shacking up with one of my old girl friends for over 31 years and our 21 year old son attends the University of Redlands.Yes, I still play with ham radio when I can find the time. I've spent an inordinate amount of time at the computer, so don't let your mouse linger too long over my yearbook picture.
